Hello, I’m Nina Villaseñor, a Mexican artist living and creating in Paris.
This city has become both my refuge and my canvas, its light, its quiet corners, its chaos, its darkness all weaving themselves into my work in unexpected ways. I paint in mixed media because no single medium feels enough for the things I want to say.
My art is rooted in the inner world: my fears, the stories I carry, the tenderness I protect, the things that thrill me, the dreams and even the nightmares that never seem to leave me alone.
Each piece is a moment where emotion takes shape, sometimes soft, sometimes raw, often somewhere in between. I paint to understand myself, to hold onto what fades, to celebrate what survives. I paint the world as I feel it, not as it appears.
My work is an invitation to pause, to breathe, to look inward, and maybe to recognize a small part of your own story reflected back at you.
